Who we are

Life Skills Supporting Accommodation Ltd provides supported accommodation and related services to young people aged 16–17 preparing for independent living. We operate this website to share information about our services.

For data protection purposes, we are the “controller” of personal data we receive after you choose to send it to us.

How to contact us

If you have any questions about this notice or how we handle personal data, please contact:

How the application form handles your data

Our online application form is designed so that all information you enter is stored only on your own device. We do not operate a back-office system and the website does not transmit, collect, or store any form data on our servers.

When you complete the form, the information remains entirely under your control. At the end of the process, you may:

  • download the completed form electronically to your device;
  • send the form to us by email using your own email client; or
  • print the form and post it to the address provided.

We only receive your personal data once you choose to send it to us via email or postal mail. Until that point, we have no access to, and do not process, your form data.

What data we collect

We do not collect or store any personal data entered into the online application form. All form data remains on your device until you download and choose to send it to us.

If you contact us directly or submit a completed form, we may process:

  • Contact details you provide (e.g., name, email, phone number).
  • Information contained in your application, once submitted by you.
  • Correspondence you send to us.
  • Referral information shared by or with a local authority or partner organisation where relevant to our services.
  • Technical essentials (see “Cookies” below) needed to deliver the site securely.

We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, social media pixels, or third-party tracking.

How we get your data

  • Directly from you when you email us or submit your completed form.
  • From local authorities or partner organisations where necessary to handle enquiries, referrals, safeguarding, or service delivery.

Why we use your data (lawful bases)

  • Legitimate interests – to assess applications, manage enquiries, and deliver services.
  • Legal obligation – to comply with safeguarding duties and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract – to take steps prior to entering into an agreement or deliver services where a contract exists.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses only essential cookies and technologies required to serve pages securely. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Because only essential cookies are used, consent is not required under PECR/UK GDPR.

Sharing your data

  • We do not sell personal data and do not share it for marketing.
  • We may share information with local authorities and partner organisations where necessary for referrals, safeguarding, or service delivery.
  • We use reputable service providers such as secure email hosts. They act under our instructions and follow UK GDPR safeguards.

International transfers

We aim to store and process data within the UK or EEA. If a service provider stores or transfers data outside these regions, we ensure appropriate protections are in place.

Data retention

Because the application form is stored entirely on your own device, we only retain information you voluntarily submit to us.

  • General enquiries: typically up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • Application forms and service records: retained in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

Data is securely deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Security

We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including secure email systems, access controls, and encryption in transit.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

  • request a copy of your personal data;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion in certain circumstances;
  • request restriction or object to certain processing;
  • request data portability where applicable.

To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above. If you have concerns, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
